R.I.P. DJ AM (Adam Goldstein)
Earlier today, Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, passed away in his 7th floor New York apartment at approximately 5:20 PM. Though DJ AM was most know for his incredible music skills, he was also an avid sneaker enthusiast as was displayed by our very own Sneaker Tribute to DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) that was showcased almost a year ago. As most can remember, DJ AM and Travis Barker were nearly killed in a plane crash last year, but were both finally returning to their normal lives after making full recoveries. Rest in peace, Adam, a True sneakerhead!
來自美国的 DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) 今早被发现陈尸寓所，消息指出由於其近日悄然失踪，朋友便前往寓所探訪，发现 DJ AM 已經毙命，身边並殘留不少毒品和注射针头，初步检定为服毒过量而死亡。 DJ AM 早前为许多当红乐团谱写乐曲，圈內关系甚好，包括Blink 182的鼓手, Travis Barker皆有过合作。 为失去一位音乐界將才感到惋惜，也奉劝潮友们不要借毒自殘，断送美好青春.

15 Malaysia
最近再也沒有任何電影比“15Malaysia”更“火”了，15部短片还未发佈，預告片已成了youtube点击率極高的视頻，Facebook Fans人数更已突破8000人。

老实说，当我看完这部短片时，我的确不明白戏里想要表达信息,后来看了来自一位网友的观后感，原来 Yasmin Ahmad 所拍摄的短片是那么的有深度和让人领悟。。
来自网友的观后感：
一）从妈妈言语间说出了，这里是他们的，我们没有机会的。说出了华裔在这里的不公对待与无奈。
二）说出了外国所给予的机会（奖学金），很大可能是影射着新加坡，但本地的却什么都没有给予。大家也会懂这是每一年都会吵一轮的课题吧。
三）妈妈要孩子出外不再继续留在那里，说出了不少家长都希望孩子出国然后逃离马来西亚，赚多点钱的心态。（虽然有可能也是因为妈妈自己本身的自私）
四）马来女孩的出现，和她主动地回笑示好，说出了不是所有马来人都如华人想象般地“恶劣”。很多其实是很单纯地很美丽的。
五）华人男孩一开始对着那女生的态度，不是很友善，但一看到对方的正脸&主动示好后，他的表情变了，也糊涂拿错货品。说出了他对那女的其实很有意思的。这说出了不同种族间还是可以有爱。
六）但忽然间，因为妈妈的一句话，让他“清醒”后，再次恢复旧有的敌对态度。也说出了华人对马来人的避忌，和脑海深处从小到长大，每一时每一刻被种植，对马来人持有的负观念。
七）最后那男的是拿起那巧克力，应该是想拿去请给那个女生的。但被妈妈一喝快点进来，又把手上的巧克力给放下然后走回进去了。说明了现实上的华人也想踏出那第一步去主动示好，但还是被社会的旧有的设定和仇恨所蒙蔽，而把那冒起的善意给埋没了。
八）影片暗地里说出了华人在大马所拥有的恶根性&排他性，因为少数的种族败类的影响，而全盘地反对对方的种族，就算对方其实是好人一个。
九）五分钱也要计较，也是华人的陋习。
十）对于普遍大马华人的恶言恶语，其实也有马来人是会默默承受。就如影片中的女孩，对着那男孩不礼貌语气的对待，并没有给予什么相等的情绪反应，而选择默默离开。所以其实马来人也是受害者。
十一）新一代的华人&马来人试图走出旧有敌对的态度，但无奈地还是被以前所灌输的负思想所影响，大家还是无法抛开一切，当没有隔膜的朋友。

无可否认，Sharlto Copley简直是把Wikus这角色演得淋漓尽致，一个原本快乐家庭和刚升级背景的单纯人类，最后沦落到变成异类，人类竟然比异类还要的下等丑陋，最感人的还是最后一幕，一个异类在折那朵铁玫瑰，一个很落寞的身影。。

District 9 第九区
这是一部由導演Neil Blomkamp和监制人Peter Jackson一起製作以documentary的手法來讲解故事的頭和尾的电影，故事讲述28年前，当外星人首次来到地球时引起了人类的恐慌，人们不知该怎么办，也不敢信任这群外星来客，于是就专门在南非建立了这样一个贫民窟用来隔离外星人，并起名“第九区”。
这不是什么一些纯粹的超级英雄为卖点或是一部以娱乐为重点的电影，这是一部充满意义，现实化。戏中的人性表现无遗，以真实、现实为主。District-9靠的不是无止尽的成本，不是名过其实的超级明星，也不是什么夸张的CGI，而是故事和情节！
