STONES THROW X STUSSY J-DILLA TEE @ SHOWROOM

In an all-L.A. joint venture, Stones throw records and Stussy have collaborated to produce this tribute to the late hip-hop producer, J-Dilla. The graphic on the front shows Jay sport a Stussy tee and is taken from Raph Rashid’s 2005 book, “The Beat: Hip-Hop Home Studios” which photographed a series of hip hop producers. Both a black and a white version are now available at SHOWROOM.

A follow up to the hugely popular special edition Chukka boots, footwear maker Dr. Martens and urban fashion label Stussy Deluxe will issue a new collaborative model this Spring – The Hambleton. Taken design cues from the California casual styles and an European summer staple, the 2-eyelet moccasin style footwear called the espadrille, the Stussy Deluxe x Dr. Martens Hambleton Shoes feature an all canvas upper in 3 colors: Navy, Black, and Ecru. A Stussy Deluxe logo is embroidered on the tongue and a Stussy “SS” emblem is embossed near the heel counter. The familiar Dr. Martens’ cloth loop in matching color was added to each edition’s heel tab. The photographer’s images originally taken for his photography book “The Faith in Graffiti” from 1974 have made their way into a collection of photo-print t-shirts. Jon Naar 出生于英国伦敦，在法国，澳大利亚和美国接受教育，并且在纽约曼哈顿生活了50年。作为专业摄影师，他和数十位世界著名的街头艺术家，设计师合作过，并且出版了10多部作品集，均获得过摄影界的最高奖项。1973年，Jon Naar 成为第一个拍摄报道纽约涂鸦文化的专业摄影师。
