An unlikely pairing of talents and interests, footwear brand Dr. Martens was the creation of Dr. Maertens, a Munich-base physician who tinkered with inventions on his spare time, and the Griggs family of Northampton, England, generation of cobblers and boot makers. That pairing of talents and interests appears once again as Stussy partnered with Dr. Martens in designing the Desert Boots for Stussy Deluxe 2009 Fall Collection. Made from supple premium suede, each boot feature a crepe outsole with Dr. Maertens’ ingenious creation, the Air Wair cushioning system. The boot is then outfitted with piping, heel tab and laces in contrast colors - purple for black, green for brown. A Stussy Double-S emblem is etched on outer heel. The Stussy Deluxe x Dr. Martens Desert Boots is now exclusively available at SHOWROOM.
“Desert boot”本是五十年代Clarks的代表作，因为其灵感来自clarks的第四代传人Nathan从军时，同胞于埃及开罗的市集上买回来的一双靴，所以得名 “Desert boot” (沙漠靴子)。靴子的简洁外形令它不只在沙漠行走，足迹更遍及各大都市的鞋店。沉寂几年之后，今年又被日本人抄的热火朝天，各大街头品牌纷纷加入推出各自专属风格的Desert boot，其中Stussy Deluxe x Dr.Martens Desert Boots合作的全新靴型鞋款是较受人关注的，此鞋款以高級麂皮面料來運用在較為復古的3孔式鞋型，鞋墊中加入了新科技的氣墊之外，後方拉帶與前方鞋帶採同一配色配置令到整體質感更趨完整，共有三种配色，都采用稳重的整色和跳跃的线条色搭配，非常容易搭配。此鞋款如今已经在吉隆坡的时代广场6楼的SHOWROOM上架发售中。
